Zelensky denounces Russian “crazy neighbor” who uses Ukraine as “testing ground”

The Russian “crazy neighbor” is using Ukraine as “a testing ground”, denounced Volodymyr Zelensky, whose air force accused Moscow of having fired this Thursday, November 21, for the first time in ‘History, an intercontinental missile on his country.

The Ukrainian air force accused Moscow of having fired an intercontinental missile into its country this Thursday, November 21. The Russian “crazy neighbor” is using Ukraine as “a testing ground”, denounced Volodymyr Zelensky.

The use of this type of missile, if confirmed, would be a first in conflict in history. And would mark a new escalation, while Russia had said it was preparing an “appropriate” response to Ukraine’s use of Western missiles on Russian territory, which Moscow had described as a red line.

Intercontinental missiles are designed to carry nuclear warheads and strike from thousands of kilometers away. Neither the Kremlin nor the army have commented on this Ukrainian accusation, for the moment.

“He despises dignity, freedom and human life in general”

“All its characteristics: speed, altitude are those of an intercontinental ballistic missile. The expertise is underway,” Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video published on Telegram.

“Today, our crazy neighbor once again showed what he really is and how much he despises dignity, freedom and human life in general. And how afraid he is,” said Volodymyr Zelensky.

“It is obvious that Putin is using Ukraine as a testing ground,” he continued in his speech.

Before adding: “He is so afraid that he is already using new missiles.”

Volodymyr Zelensky, concluding his remarks, affirmed that, according to him, Vladimir “Putin is ready to do anything to prevent his neighbor from escaping his grip”, after almost three years of Russian invasion of Ukraine.

For its part, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its spokesperson Christophe Lemoine, judged that such use would be “extremely serious” if it were to be confirmed.
