But what’s going on with Justin Timberlake? A photo of the 43-year-old artist, handcuffed, is currently circulating on the networks and in certain media. This was notably shared by our British colleagues from Daily Mail. A few hours earlier, the 43-year-old American star was checked Monday evening in Sag Harbor (Long Island), in New York state. The husband of Jessica Biel (with whom he has two children: Silas Randall Timberlake, born April 11, 2015, and Phineas Timberlake, born July 31, 2020) was arrested for drunk driving after dining at a hotel.
His strange behavior while driving quickly surprised the police who stopped his vehicle without anyone being injured. He is accused, while he was going to a friend’s house, of running a stop sign and deviating from his path. He was taken into custody and appeared in Sag Harbor court on Tuesday, June 18. According to TMZhe has since been released without bail and will be tried for this offense on July 26.

As our colleagues at RTL point out, this arrest comes about a year after an interview given by the singer to the famous journalist Oprah Winfrey, in which the ex-companion of Britney Spears admitted to having a problem with excessive alcohol consumption and committed to finding help. Let us also recall that the interpreter of Cry Me a River has been on a world tour since the end of April for his sixth album Everything I Thought It Was. He is scheduled to perform this week in Chicago and at Madison Square Garden in New York.
It remains to be seen whether his legal setbacks will have an impact on the timing of his concerts or not.
