Really awaited at the turn, the remake of Resident Evil 4 finally convinced the greatest number. Resident Evil 4 pushes its performance even further on PS5 Pro
Capcom said it: Resident Evil VII: Village et RE 4 Remake must receive a free patch for the latest Sony console. Without further announcement, the latter received its update on November 6. We also find the mention “ improved for PS5 Pro » on the title’s PlayStation Store page. From now on, players can take advantage of this remake in an optimized version.
Tests have already been carried out by fans. This is the case of YouTuber Brazil Pixel who, in a video, gives us an idea of the performance of Resident Evil 4 Remake. Thus, we see that in its Loyalty mode, the game runs well 60 FPS with native 4K resolution and having activated ray tracing and hair animation. On the other hand, if we return to 1080p with Performance mode, it oscillates between 95 and 120 FPS. Obviously, we have to give up on ray tracing and hair effects in this regard. Image fluidity at a price!
Patch 1.400 of Resident Evil 4 Remake therefore makes good use of the performance of the PS5 Pro. THE PSSR is of course requested to improve the graphic rendering. That’s not all. The patch notes also specify minor bug fixes. Likewise, it must ensure a better stability at the game.
So, Resident Evil 4 Remake finally got its update. But this is only one title among all those who must receive it. And the list just keeps growing! Great things still await the PlayStation 5 Pro. It is also not impossible that Capcom improves its latest RE of the PS4. However, let’s wait for an official confirmation. However, it was clearly said that a large part of the PS4 game library would benefit from some boosts on Sony’s new machine.
