Two years ago, France discovered the face of Lola, a 12-year-old teenager found dead in a suitcase in the courtyard of her building in the 19th arrondissement. The alleged murderer, an Algerian woman in an irregular situation, was placed in pre-trial detention three days after the discovery of the body.
This tragedy broke Lola's family. His father Johan Daviet, who testified on RTL/M6 a year ago, is died of a heart attack on February 23. Two years after the events, Lola's mother decided to confide in Faustine Bollaert, this Tuesday, November 12 in the show Çstarted today broadcast by France 2.
“That day, we normally left in the evening for the mobile home we own, on the coast. I was packing the suitcases to leave in the evening and at midday, I decided to take a little nap because we have a little break in between, says Delphine Daviet, still consumed by guilt, I tell myself that maybe I shouldn't have taken this nap because usually, I go out at that time when she comes home so I would definitely have bumped into her.”
It was upon emerging from this nap that Lola's mother's nightmare began. “I woke up with a start and not seeing her come home, I said to my husband: 'it's not normal, it's weird, it's not his habit not to warn'“, she explains. “As soon as I didn't have any news, I said to myself it's not good, there was something. I felt it right away, my mother's body was broken right away“, she confides on France 2.
