It has already been 17 years since the Hellfest delights the ears of lovers of extreme music! This year, the metal festival intends to continue the adventure with a new edition rich in musical gems. To live from Thursday June 27 to Sunday June 30, 2024this news and 17e edition of Hellfest will definitely delight your eyes and ears! It must be said that several big names are expected this summer at Clisson with Metallica, Machine Head, the Foo Fighters, Shaka Ponk, Kerry King, Avenged Sevenfold, Megadeth, without forgetting Mass Hysteria! (DOLCH) – Temple – Thursday June 27, 2024 from 6:45 p.m. to 7:35 p.m.
Doom / Dark Ambient – Germany
If you don’t know yet (Dolch), so we advise you to head past the Temple on Thursday to discover this combo that has it all! Originally from Berlin in Germany, this group will certainly transport you to a parallel world thanks to its clever mix of doom, dark rock, gothic rock and ambient sounds. Emotion and intensity guaranteed!
EMPEROR – Temple – Friday June 28, 2024 from 10:50 p.m. to 11:50 p.m.
Black metal – Norway
While its leader Ihsahn was visiting Hellfest in 2022, the powerful group Emperor returns to Clisson for the 5th time! It must be said that this group from Norway is a reference in the world of black metal. Reformed for the third time in 2016, Emperor will be able to create a real musical mass on Friday evening on the occasion of this new visit to Hellfest which is likely to bring together many fans.
UUHAI – Temple – Saturday June 29, 2024 from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Folk rock – Mongolia
While their compatriots from The HU had won over a large part of the festival-goers in 2023 at Hellfest, Uuhai will he succeed in doing as well, or even better? Folk – Faroe Islands
She plays folk music and comes to us from a little piece of land lost in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean, where the metal scene has its place. Eivørwhose full name is Eivør Pálsdóttir, arrives in Hellfest with his folk sounds and his hypnotic voice. The one that many know through the soundtrack of The Last Kingdomhas just released a new opus entitled “Enn“. The Faroese artist will be happy to perform her new pieces for you, just to take you on a journey to her lands, between wild and vibrant nature.
DIMMU BORGIR – Temple – Sunday June 30, 2024 from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Symphonic Black Metal – Norway
They come to us from Norway, a country where black metal resonates. Their name ? Dimmu Borgir ! Silenoz, Shagrath and Galder, the three members of the group – are a reference in the world of symphonic black metal. It has already been more than 30 years since Dimmu Borgir travels the roads of Europe, just to delight lovers of the genre. For a good dose of symphonic black metal from an essential band, head to the Temple on Sunday evening!
