Let’s move on to futsal! This Friday the 100% Thulin derby was played in D2 of the League. Magic Hellas Thulin, 0 points, “received” Thulin’s Futsal Academy and its record of 3 points out of 12. The stakes were therefore high: winning this derby allowed them to breathe and move away from the zone. red. At the end of a close match, it was ultimately the Academy who won. A look back at the match and the season of the two clubs with Jacob Hemptinne and Frédéric Paspont.
The adage says that a derby is not played, it is won. It was the Futsal Academy of Thulin which respected it by winning 2-4 in a contested match full of stakes given the complicated seasons of the two teams.
Both clubs are having an eventful season. As for the Academy, faced with numerous player absences, coach Rudy Celsy decided to resign. Replaced by Mike Meunier, the D2 team is helped by players from Nationales 2 and many young people, training being at the heart of the project.
On the Magic Hellas side, this season is marked by reconstruction after the merger between Magic and Hellas. The group is brand new, made up of a lot of young people, the sauce has to take hold.
The team is also lacking players, especially on the road. This is what pushed coach Dany Garcia Rendon to take the field every week to help his team. To overcome this problem, we are considering radical solutions.
The ambitions of the two clubs this season are of course to maintain but above all to progress while training young people in order to be ready next year for the merger of the two federations: the Union and the League.
