It must be said that this community and its family have always been linked. As recalled Corsica Morning, Timo Leonetti being from the Isle of Beauty, the young man was born with a wing on his back. Son of a couple of paragliding instructors, he took his first flight at 18 months and has continued to break records. Recently, he distinguished himself on his homeland, where he set the record for the longest flight ever made on the island by covering 193 km. A track record which earned him the recognition of his peers, as his federation was keen to point out, which praised the “passion” and the “dedication” of the young prodigy. “He was respected and admired by his peers for his expertise and sportsmanship.”
