The death of a 15-year-old teenager is intriguing in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois

It was around 4 a.m. this Friday when the firefighters and the Samu went to the home of the aunt of a teenager in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois (Essonne). After complaining several times of severe leg pain, the 15-year-old boy reportedly lost consciousness. The rescuers “tried in vain to resuscitate him,” a source close to the case tells us. But the teenager had already died. An investigation was opened to determine the causes of death.

An autopsy scheduled for Monday

Thursday evening, the young man, who lives in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), would have gone with his cousin to the Gambrinus tavern, a bar located in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois, where he would have drank a cocktail alcoholic. He then returned with his cousin to his aunt’s house around 12:30 a.m. He then complained for the second time that evening of severe pain in his legs.

The two cousins then allegedly talked until 2 a.m. before going to bed. A little later in the night, the pains would have woken the teenager. He also reportedly vomited and lost consciousness before his family called for help.

“For the moment there is no evidence to suggest poisoning,” says a police source. It is impossible to comment at the moment, we must wait for the autopsy of the deceased and toxicological research as well as environmental analyses, which will take place on Monday June 17.
