A house destroyed by fire in this village in Côtes-d’Armor

A fire completely engulfed a house, in the very center of Bon-Repos-sur-Blavet, formerly Laniscat, in Côtes-d'Armor, during the night from Saturday 9 to Sunday 10 November 2024. The four occupants must be rehoused.

A fire broke out in a residential house, located at 9, place de l'Église, in the town of Bon-Repos-sur-Blavet (formerly Laniscat), south of Côtes-d'Armor. The call came to the Departmental Operational Intervention and Rescue Center at 12:44 a.m., on the night of Saturday 9 to Sunday 10 November 2024.

Twenty-eight firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the fire.

Evacuated to the Pontivy hospital center

The building was completely engulfed in flames when they arrived.

The four occupants of the house were evacuated to the Pontivy hospital center for inspection: a 44-year-old woman, a 47-year-old man and two young men aged 18 and 16. They will be rehoused by the town hall.

A security and surveillance perimeter has been established around the house, adjoining on one side, in order to avoid any resumption of fire.
