Trained at FC Metz, the young 21-year-old attacking midfielder has just signed a 2-year contract with Clermont Foot 63. A technically comfortable player, Maïdine Douane will be an additional offensive asset for the Rouge & Bleu.

If he spent most of his young career in Moselle, touching the professional world by participating in 2 Ligue 2 BKT matches at the end of the 22/23 season with the garnet club, it was in Belgium, at the RFC Seraing, that he was able to acquire more playing time. Loaned to the Belgian club last season, he took part in 19 matches, including 17 as a starter.

Endowed with above-average technical quality, the Algerian U23 international will bring percussion and creativity to the Clermont game.

Maïdine Douane: “I am very proud to sign for Clermont Foot, I want to show all the supporters that I am a quality player and I can’t wait to meet them at the stadium. The objective will be to have a very good season, to help the team by scoring but also by making them score to play leading roles in Ligue 2.

I spent a few days in Clermont-Ferrand last March where I was able to talk with the team staff but also discover the stadium and the city, I already feel good here.”

The Auvergne club welcomes Maïdine Douane.
