there wood festival in the town of Saint-Gatien-des-Bois. Entrance is free from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. The event, which takes place in the Val de l’air arboretum, aims to promote dialogue between the forest, the arts and culture.

This 3e wood festival wants to promote dialogue between the forest, the arts and culture. One of the highlights will be the visit of Papuan chief Mundiya Kepanga, defender of the environment and primary forests.

He will give a conference on the art of writing around the ancestral ornaments of his tribe. A meeting followed by a screening of the documentary Guardians of the forest, time for solutionsby Marc Dozier.

Festi’music, that’s its name, offers two days of concerts, one week before the traditional music festival which will be given on June 21 throughout France. The Ornais mini-festival offers rock, folk and pop concerts. The groups will play Friday June 14 in the evening and Saturday June 15 in the afternoon on the terraces, in the bars and restaurants of the city center.

This festival which takes place at the Château de Bricquebec offers two days of activities Saturday June 15 and Sunday June 16.

During the two days you can attend concerts and shows but also discover a large market which brings together creators, artisans and producers. It’s free and open to all.

“Festive linen” is the name of this festival which is already celebrating its… 27e editing ! Normandy is the leading flax producing region in France. This celebration therefore highlights this treasure!


In 2020, the region supplied 470,200 tonnes of flax on 84,975 ha.

From June 14 to 16, the “Doudeville en fête” association offers various activities. Several exhibitions (prints on paper and linen, paintings on the theme of linen, sensory tours…), a concert entitled “Guitar, linen and piano” on Saturday at 5 p.m., but also discovery workshops or a visit to the eco -linen museum.
