An investigation was opened after the discovery on Wednesday November 6 of a dead man with “several stab wounds” in a pavilion in Dampierre-en-Burly (Loiret), AFP learned this Saturday November 9 from from the Montargis public prosecutor's office.
The gendarmes also found a 19-year-old young man with a very serious skull injury and his vital prognosis is still in jeopardy on Saturday, Montargis public prosecutor Jean-Cédric Gaux told AFP, confirming press information. He was transported to Orléans hospital.
“Dozens of stab wounds”
The deceased man, “presumably the father” of the young man, “presented dozens of wounds from stab wounds and blunt hammer-type objects”, said the prosecutor.
An investigation into “murder and attempted murder” was opened and entrusted to the gendarmes of the Orléans research section and the Gien research brigade.
The young man's mother, worried about not hearing from him, called the firefighters.
