With already more than 2,500 spectators on the clock for the musical Sister Act, there Art Scène theater company, of Saint-Jean-sur-Vilaine (Ille-et-Vilaine), has decided to reschedule a weekend of representation, in October 2024, has Louvigné-de-Bais.
Three new performances
“As the Saint-Jean village hall will be under construction at the start of the school year, we will not be able to program our usual play,” explains Céline Jeuland, of the Art Scène company.
“It creates space for us in our cultural calendar to play again Sister Act. In addition, we had some 200 people on the waiting list, and the Louvigné-de-Bais town hall has sent us further requests. So we decided to plan three other performances, on October 25, 26 and 27, 2024.”

Dolorès, played by Whoopi Goldberg on the big screen and interpreted by Céline Jeuland in the Saint-Jean version, sings in a seedy cabaret.

The troop is recruiting
“We are already preparing our next show, the subject or theme of which we have not yet revealed,” announces Céline Jeuland.
” And that’s why, we are recruiting singers, actors, with or without experience, everyone who wants to join us. »
