Follow The Awakening of Pont-Audemer
The Bouquelon festival committee (Eure), near Pont-Audemer, pulled out all the stops. This year, the association’s six volunteers decided to celebrate music ahead of time. The festival is called: Bouquelon in music. This Saturday, June 15, 2024, the members of the committee have scheduled several activities: a walk with Thierry Lecomte to visit the Courtils nature reserve, games for children, followed by a concert with the Rouen group HGroove.
Fishing day in September
“This is the first time that we have organized this event in the town. The goal is to get residents out of their homes. There will be something for all ages,” says Sarah Boucher, the secretary of the festival committee. Long dormant, the festival committee was re-established in 2019 but was stopped short by the health crisis.
Since then, the association has organized several events. Last October, the mussels and fries evening was sold out. The next one will take place on Saturday November 9. Previously, the committee will propose a day of fishing at the Pont-Authou fish farm on September 1st. A day offered to the inhabitants of Bouquelon.
This Saturday, June 15, interested people can follow Thierry Lecomte to discover the Courtils nature reserve, its fauna, flora and livestock (4 p.m., supervised 7.5 km walk, reservation at 06 74 62 59 70). Then, from 6 p.m., musical entertainment, inflatable games for children & wooden games for young and old, will be offered at the Maison des associations. Finally, at 7 p.m., the French and international variety group HGROOVE will be in concert. Two food trucks will be present for those who want to eat on site.

On the program: 4 p.m., departure for a walk supervised by the Courtils de Bouquelon nature reserve association, 6 p.m., musical entertainment, inflatable game for children & wooden games for young and old, 7 p.m., concert with the group of French and international HGROOVE varieties. Two food trucks will be present. A raffle with nice prizes (4 Astérix places, Le Ciné card, La Fonderie card, etc.) the ticket: €2.
