Passing on the airwaves of Noovo Info, the Noovo Info collaborator affirmed that the strategy employed by the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) in the issue of public transport in the Quebec region is very unpopular with Quebecers.
“This is a Legault that the population no longer wants to see,” added Mr. Ferrandez.
The employee believes that before this announcement, the CAQ had done well and had been able to resolve major issues. The party had even risen in the polls. But this relentlessness for public transportation in Quebec could work against the party, believes Mr. Ferrandez.
“We are at $27 billion for transport in the Quebec region. I would like to believe that we have a transport deficit in the region, but so do the other regions of Quebec.”

Why does François Legault want a highway link despite everything? Because he dreams of the South Shore of Quebec becoming the same thing as the South Shore of Montreal, “that is, a lot of economic development,” says the political analyst.
