No more Monday evenings in front Married at first sight. This Monday, June 10, M6 broadcast the final episode of the eighth season. The opportunity for the couples of this edition to take stock of their adventure together. With one exception: Marie and Jérémy are the only ones who did not meet for the traditional final meeting with Estelle Dossin and Gilbert Bou Jaoudé. The reason ? The groom simply refused to see his wife! He, whose behavior had already been criticized by Laurent Ruquier, justified his decision by a need to “protect your integrity“ after weeks of difficult communication. A choice which sparked a wave of criticism on social networks, so much so that the 32-year-old ended up publicly apologizing to Marie.
Enough to calm the anger of the disappointed candidate? Not really. In a long video posted on Instagram, she returned to Jérémy’s betrayal and decreed: “Actually, he doesn’t deserve me and he’s worthless in my eyes, he became an unknown.” But the candidate of Married at first sight still had things to say, as evidenced by the long interview she gave to Parisian.
Jérémy’s sudden change in behavior
During this exchange, Marie made a major revelation about the end of her adventure with Jérémy: a discussion between them, which took place in the presence by Estelle Dossin, just before the assessment, was not shown on screen. It was during this exchange that the groom’s behavior suddenly changed, without explanation. “We had an interview with Estelle which was not broadcast. He said that everything was perfect, that nothing was a problem, neither the distance nor the timetable and that it was just a matter of organizing well. Until the last moment, he was ultra-reassuring“, remembers the candidate of Married at first sight.
But while she thought she would end the adventure with Jérémy, the atmosphere then changed radically: “Suddenly, Jérémy changed his gaze which became black, his face was very closed, very harsh and he said horrible things to me. I thought: What is actually happening? Give me back my husband! Where is the one I married who was so sweet, all marshmallow? I opened a door for him, asked him what was wrong and he kicked it down.n unpacking everything negative he thought about me”, concludes Marie, who says she still does not understand what could have happened. The young woman will, however, have to make up her mind: she will not be one of the rare couples formed thanks to Married at first sight.
