After leaving high school at the end of the 1950s in Switzerland, Jean-Luc Bideau announces to his parents that he has found his vocation. The young man wishes to devote his life to dramatic art. He moves to France and presents himself to Paris Conservatory of Dramatic Artwhich he joined in 1959. His talent earned him the 2e classic comedy prize in 1963. Three years later, he was asked to replace Jean Bouise to play in The three Musketeers with the troupe of the National Popular Theater (TNP) during a tour in Europe. In Prague, Jean-Luc Bideau has an encounter that will change his life forever. He falls in love with his interpreter, Marcela Salivarovahis wife for the next fifty years.
So who is Marcela Salivarova?
“I returned to Prague in 1968, with my friend, the decorator Jean-Marc Stehlé. I asked him if he had news of Marcela. He told me that she was a special woman, I didn’t had no doubt about it, an execrable woman, but in temperament I was not mistaken. I called her.remembers Jean-Luc Bideau in an interview given to Time. Marcela Salivarova studied political science, French letters and Arabic in Czechoslovakia.
