For the occasion, the Hall of Paris welcomes 35 professional artists from the entire Occitanie region. A unique event in the artistic calendar of Tarn-et-Garonne.
“Making the place of art professions known”
At the origin of this free cultural event are the couple Martine and Serge Lachèvre. Two Moissagais passionate about art galleries. Already twice in the past, they have welcomed between 1,800 and 2,000 visitors to the Paris Hall.
“This year, three quarters of the exhibitors are new. They are only professionals, true artists,” present the organizers. Ceramist, hat maker, potter, jewelry, lighting, textiles, wood sculptor, metal, raku, clay… There is something for everyone. Ideal for those looking to shop in the run-up to the holiday season.

But behind this selection of multidisciplinary artists lies a very specific desire. “To raise awareness of the role and place of artistic crafts in our society. It’s a show that aims to be affordable and that respects artists,” say Martine and Serge.
The date of the event refers to the autumn salons organized at the time by the Impressionists. But also during the two market days, Saturday and Sunday morning, on the Place des Récollets.
Unusual artists to discover
As for the list of artists present this weekend at the Hall de Paris, the Lachèvre couple speak of “quality”. Martine mentions, for example, the presence of a stand for mulching fabric chairs. “It’s really unique,” comments La Moissagaise.

Serge, for his part, highlights the arrival of Joris Fonvieille. An artist who makes musical instruments out of gas cylinders. “Simply extraordinary,” explains the volunteer.
