She is the new face of the Ministry of Social Affairs in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She is Nathalie-Aziza MUNANA.

A dynamic woman known in the copper province for her social actions, Nathalie AZIZA MUNANA is president of the Calix MUNANA foundation, business manager of MAZEX TRANDING COMPANY. She was provincial minister for gender, family and children in the government of Jacques KIABULA KATWE in the province of Haut-Katanga.

At the end of the December 2023 elections, she was elected national deputy for the electoral constituency of Kipushi, in Haut-Katanga, her hometown.

About her school career, Nathalie AZIZA MUNANA obtained her state diploma in 1979 at Kipushi primary school, before continuing her secondary studies in Lubumbashi. As for higher studies, Nathalie-Aziza MUNANA will do them in Belgium.

In 1987, she returned to Katanga and in June of the same year created a personal protective equipment (PPE) and sports equipment company MAZEX Trading Company. On December 15, 1988 following the death of her older sister, Nathalie AZIZA recovered her late sister’s six children and then created the Ministry of AIDS Orphans on January 25, 1989.

7 years later, on October 14, 1996, the NGO will expand by taking care of widows and will become the Calixte MUNANA Foundation (FCM) named after his father.

In 2001, Nathalie-Aziza MUNANA’s brother suffered a stroke and she decided to once again extend the scope of her foundation to people with reduced mobility.

Nathalie-Aziza MUNANA is a long-time humanitarian actress who better understands the social problems of the population.
