The Air Pays de la Loire rapid intervention force, which monitors air quality in the region, was activated after the fire which ravaged a company in Saint-Barthélemy-d’Anjou , near Angers (Maine-et-Loire).

Chlorinated products, stored at the rear of the industrial building, caught fire and caused heavy black smoke which spread into the sky above Angers.
