Yesterday was the first “Hellfest Kids” with the children!

Before the start of Hellfest in Clisson this Thursday June 27, yesterday there was the first “Hellfest kids“, which took place in Gétigné. Children under 7 years old enjoyed a metal concert, accompanied by their parents. Everything was ready to welcome them: makeup stand, bottles of water, headphones, music at 92db and… Aldebert was the headliner of this first edition, with his project “.Helldebert – Childishness 666″.

A project for families

Aldebert evokes a unifying initiative for families. “It’s a kind of gift in relation to what is happening to us and to this childishness which is the universe that I defend, which is a universe for young audiences, but which also unites parents and families a lot. It was Ben Barbaud, the boss of Hellfest, who put this together, because he knew that I had been preparing a metal project for a long time and we didn’t know how we could collaborate, and integrate in one way or another… It was he who set up this “Hellfest Kids”, which bridges the gap between childhood and the metal world and which allows families and children under seven years old… to have this initiation into this world festival, where we will experience music physically, with family, in all kindness and with a lot of fun and energy.”

“We obviously use all the codes of metal!”

For Aldebert, the “Hellfest kids“is not so different from the big festival:”on the sound, we are limited to 92 db, we are very careful because it is legislated and we cannot do anything. We always have a flow meter that allows us to measure the intensity… on the other hand, in terms of energy, we are not limited! We will really take them seriously. They are real festival-goers, we are going to be crazy, we are going to jump, we are going to do slam, we are going to do “stage diving”… that is to say that at the end of Enfantillages, it is our signature, there is a granny who goes on stage, with a cape and she will be worn by the public like we do from 10:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. at Hellfest every day! We obviously use all the codes of metal.”

Hellfest is open from 7 years old, before that there is the “Hellfest Kids“

Sofia Martin went to meet the little metalheads… “Are you ready children, it’s going to jump! It’s so good: the songs, the rock and the music… I brought my headphones. It’s still very hot… Aldebert I went to see him in concert at the Zénith and it was so good. It’s the first time I’ve been going there and before my father he went alone, and now I can go with him… We’re not taking them to Hellfest yet… I would have liked to Metallica, but it’s on Saturday.”

“Hellfest production” wanted to reach young audiences, and it was a success since the Bellevue space welcomed nearly 3,500 people (children and parents).

For Hellfest, opening of the gates of Hell this Thursday, June 27: 176 groups will perform on 6 stages between now and Sunday, with headliners like Métallica, The Prodigy, and Shaka Ponk.
