The small village of Sainte-Cécile is experiencing a tragedy following the announcement of the death of one of the young people involved in the traffic accident that occurred during the night from Friday to Saturday, rue de Fontenoille.
The victim is only 18 years old
As a reminder, the driver would be barely 14 years old and would have taken advantage of his parents’ vehicle, who were away for the weekend. He invited three other young people from the region for a night out. An adolescent stupidity which will mark the young man’s life forever since at 1:50 a.m., emergency services are called to rue de Fontenoille. The car hit a pole in Ores and one of the passengers, an adult, was seriously injured and rushed to Arlon hospital. Placed in intensive care, his vital prognosis has since been compromised.
Unfortunately, we learned this Sunday from L’Avenir de Luxembourg that the adult, only 18 years old and originally from Bouillon, succumbed to his injuries. The other people in the car suffered fractures but their lives were not in danger.
