Saturday June 8, 2024 began with the weighing, in the city center of Le Mans (Sarthe). The afternoon was especially marked by the parade of cars, including hypercars, and by that of the race marshals, who will take the starting line on Saturday June 15. The atmosphere was as festive as ever, in the streets of Le Mans (Sarthe), this Saturday June 8, 2024. The weigh-in for the 24 Hours of Le Mans continued in the morning, Place de la République.

Then, around 3:30 p.m., the crowd concentrated along the city’s main arteries. Behind barriers, spectators were able to admire some of the cars that will take part in the race on Saturday June 15, including hypercars. The Iron Dames car was applauded for a long time, the Ferrari car encouraged by “Viva Italia!” », and the Bentley 3 Liter Sport, the first winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1924, closed the parade.

At the other end of the city, hundreds of women and men in orange marched. The race commissioners were honored, welcomed with applause and music.
