As teased by Remedy Entertainment, the gem Alan Wake 2 took advantage of Summer Game Fest 2024 to preview its first expansion called Zone X, but not only that!
Alan Wake 2 is undoubtedly one of the biggest slaps in recent years. A game which alone condenses all of Remedy’s talent in terms of staging, writing and even artistic direction. And after an already successful Control, it’s nice to see. If the critical success is there, the title is currently failing commercially. It’s obviously not a mega-four, but it has not yet reached the break-even point, which is neither good news for the studio nor for the players.
Remedy presents the first DLC for Alan Wake 2, Zone X, with a nice surprise!
Alan Wake 2 will have the opportunity to expand its story and its universe through two expansions, as was the case with Control. The first Zone X DLC, titled Night Springs in English, will immerse players in the fictional television series of the same name. “Visions and dreams. A story is written and becomes real. During the Summer Game Fest 2024, Remedy took the stage to present this extension of Alan Wake 2 and reveal the first gameplay extracts. As good news never comes alone, this one is available today! Better yet, what fans have been waiting for since the launch of the talented studio’s latest masterpiece has been confirmed by Sam Lake: a physical version is coming!
