The 13th^e alpine hunter battalion, specialized in mountain combat, opens its doors this Saturday June 8, 2024 in Barby.

This special opportunity will allow you, young and old, to discover the world of mountain soldiers thanks to the various exchanges and demonstrations.

Program

• 9:30 a.m.: Opening of the 13th Battalion of Alpine Hunters to the public
• 10:00 a.m.: Paragliding demonstration by the mountain commando group
• 10:30 a.m.: Aubade of the fanfare of the 27th Battalion of Alpine Hunters
• 11:00 a.m.: Dog group demonstration.
• 11:35 a.m.: Dynamic combat demonstration of a company
• 1:00 p.m.: Paragliding demonstration by the mountain commando group
• 1:30 p.m.: Conference on the fighting from June to October 1944 by Laurent Demouzon
• 2:00 p.m.: Concert by the band of the 27th Battalion of Alpine Hunters
• 2:45 p.m.: Dog group demonstration.
• 3:30 p.m.: Dynamic combat demonstration of a company
• 4:00 p.m.: Conference on the battles of the Stéphane company by Major Pierrat
• 5:30 p.m.: Paragliding demonstration by the mountain commando group
• 7:00 p.m.: Doors close to the public
