The body of five-year-old Rose was found naked on April 25, in a trash bag, in an apartment in Rambervilliers (Vosges). In the process, a teenager aged 15 at the time was indicted for murder. During the reconstruction, he collaborated with investigators and confessed to having drowned the girl in the bathtub of his apartment, without committing rape according to the autopsy. He suffers from mild mental impairment. He himself called the police on the day of the tragedy and admitted to having approached the child in a park.
Multiple rapes?
The teenager had already been indicted for rape of a minor in 2022. He had tied two children to a tree, then raped one of them and sexually assaulted the other. As part of this first procedure, he was placed in a closed educational center for one year, the maximum possible duration, between February 2022 and February 2023, and was subject to an obligation of care and training. He was sentenced to three years in prison, an appeal procedure is underway.
A new complaint is added to the accusations against him, reveals BFMTV this Friday. The Epinal public prosecutor’s office has confirmed the opening of a preliminary investigation into a rape case. A former classmate filed a complaint at the end of April 2024, for events which allegedly took place at the teenager’s home in February 2022.
