Four people were injured, two of them seriously, with an ax on Monday in a public transport station in the Paris region, we learned from a police source.
Around 8:00 a.m. local time, in the Ozoir-la-Ferrière station, about thirty kilometers east of Paris, a fight broke out involving several people for a reason still unknown. One of the victims had his hand cut off and another had his head cut open with an axe, the same source added. Two others were more lightly injured.
The fight took place while the train was at the platform. Traffic on this “E” line of the regional express network (RER) was not disrupted, the National Railway Company stressed.
