Riverside County Sheriff’s Department

The horrific incident was captured on surveillance cameras, a copy of which was obtained by ABC News.

In the video reposted by many users on X, the suspect can be seen opening fire with what appears to be a semi-automatic weapon targeting the vehicles.

This wanton crime unfortunately cost the life of a father. The victim is Victor Hugo Leon, 42 years old. He was married to Griselda Zepeda for 13 years.

According to testimony the widow gave to KTLA, Mr. Leon was on his way home from his night shift at a warehouse when he was killed.

The family has opened a GoFundMe fundraiser to finance the funeral of the deceased. Mr. Leon’s relatives had set a goal of raising $20,000 through this campaign, but the story seems to have greatly affected donors since the family has already raised $36,000, according to information from the tabloid owned by Fox Corporation.
