“I could have died”… Nearly a month after her heart attack, Jeane Manson came out of silence. On May 7, she was once again opposed to Coline Berry. As a reminder, Richard Berry’s daughter filed a complaint against her father and the singer for “rape of a 15-year-old minor by ascendant, sexual assault of a 15-year-old minor, and corruption of a minor, committed in 1982 and 1986“. Accusations which gave rise to a standoff between the two parties.
Jeane Manson maintains her innocence
Jeane Manson subsequently filed a complaint against Coline Berry for defamation. If Richard Berry’s eldest daughter was initially convicted, this decision was overturned a few months later by the Court of Cassation.
Thus, on May 7, the two women had an appointment in court to a new audience. A hearing during which Jeane Manson once again proclaimed her innocence. However, as reported by our colleagues from Purepeople at the time, the singer, who was “in critical condition“, had to be hospitalized at the end of the hearing.
