From now on, he only wants to coach teams in red.

After two years of good and loyal service, Paulo Fonseca will leave LOSC and should head to AC Milan in order to take a step forward in his coaching career. To replace him, the Mastiffs would have set their sights on Bruno Genesio, according to information from The Team. Having worked at Olympique Lyonnais and Stade Rennais, the French coach is in the process of reaching an agreement with the club which must already prepare for the preliminary round of the Champions League scheduled for early August.

After some very good things seen during the 2021-2022 season, Bruno Genesio then suffered from Martin Terrier’s long injury the following year. Worn out by the difficulties of the position, he left Stade Rennes last November after a mixed start to the season. For several days, rumors have notably sent him to Nice, which ultimately preferred Franck Haise, but the Lyonnais has never hidden his desire to work with Olivier Létang, president of Lille, whom he notably met during of the confrontation between Monaco and Rennes last April.

The opponents on Sunday at 1 p.m. better watch out, Genesio’s first year in a club is still great.
