In the first constituency of Vienne, the Horizons candidate Séverine Saint-Pé, who arrived this Monday, confirms her continuation in the second round of the legislative elections, in view of the small difference in votes with the candidate of the National Rally, Emmanuelle Darles who came in second position at the end of the first round of voting this Sunday, June 30. In this first constituency of Vienne, the candidate of the New Popular Front, Lisa Belluco came in first by gathering 33.14% of the votes, against 28.93% for the candidate of the RN and 28.85% for Séverine Saint-Pé .
The Horizons candidate explains her decision to remain in the second round: “there are only 43 votes that separate me from the National Rally and I am convinced that in some municipalities, the choice of the RN was rather a choice by default than by conviction and I want to go and find these voters, try to convince them. As a candidate of a center-right republican front, I must continue to try to work to avoid the flight of votes to the National Rally.”
