Monday June 3, 2024 marked a turning point in the history of 12 coups de midi, a game show broadcast on TF1. After 252 victories on the show, Emilien reached first place on the Maîtres de midi podium and established himself as the greatest champion in the history of French TV games. The 21-year-old young man therefore overtook Bruno Hourcade, who himself won this title in 2021. He had also broken the world record for individual victories in a game show, then overtaking Marie-Christine, former candidate for Tout le everyone wants to take his place. This time, it was Emilien who won the prize while obtaining an absolutely exceptional prize pool! The candidate is now a millionaire, with a total winnings amounting to 1,088,471 euros. A new situation which does not prevent him from keeping his feet on the ground and considering the rest of his journey.

Present for eight months in the program, Jessica’s companion had nevertheless told Jean-Luc Reichmann that he had “still not realized” his rise in the game. A history student, the young champion had to put on break from his studies in order to be able to fully participate in the 12 strokes of noon. Originally from Vendée, Emilien studied in Toulouse, in the south of France. But as the show was filmed in Paris, he was forced to stay longer than expected in the capital.
