Grif opening announced in the René Ballière Prize

This is the announcement made by the Italian professional Alessandro Gocciadoro to the media Equos. Grif varnishing has just lost its title of fastest horse in Europe, established in the Grand Critérium de Vitesse de la Côte d’Azur (Gr.1), on March 10 in Cagnes-sur-Mer, in 1’08” 1, after the coronation ofHORSY DREAM (Royal Dream) in the Elitloppet in a time of 1’08”0. His participation would allow in the René Ballière Prize a meeting between the two fastest European trotters in history, sinceHorsy Dream is also announced at the start. The casting looks sumptuous with, of course, IDAO DE TILLARD (Sévérino) but also HOHNECK (Royal Dream), or even GO ON BOY (Password) for which the option Kymi Grand (Gr.1), contested on June 15 at Kouvola in Finland, is also mentioned.
A great showing in the Oslo Grand Prix
Lhe starting grid for the Oslo Grand Prix (Gr.1), which will be contested on Sunday June 9 in Bjerke, was finalized this Saturday. The 10th guest is the 4 year old American trotter DEVILISH HILL (Muscle Hill) who has just made a victorious debut on European soil by winning a Group 2 during the Elitloppet weekend in Solvalla. Karl still imperial at Meadowlands
The American 3-year-old champion KARL (Tactical Landing) won with, once again, a good margin, in the Final of the New Jersey Sire Stakes ($240,000), Friday evening at Meadowlands. The resident of Nancy Takter left his closest opponent seven lengths away and took the opportunity to establish his new personal best in 1’51”0 over the mile (1’09”0 in kilometer reduction). He now has 12 victories in 13 outings (for earnings of $1,191,977). He will now benefit from a break of a few weeks before attacking the summer during which “a difficult program awaits him” announced Nancy Takter. His big goal is of course the Hambletonian on August 3.
