The toll of the dramatic road accident, which occurred in Libourne on the night of Saturday June 1 to Sunday June 2, is increasing. A fourth boy, a minor, has just died.

Three young people aged 19 died the same evening, after the vehicle ended its journey by hitting a tree, around 2:30 a.m. on the ring road (RD1089).

The youngest passenger, probably aged 17, was transported in absolute emergency to the Bordeaux hospital center. Her vital prognosis was engaged. This Sunday, June 2 in the morning, he is dead to the hospital.

Circumstances more complex than a simple accident

The fifth passenger, probably aged 18 and polytraumatizedwas transported following the accident to Libourne hospital.

According to the mayor of Libourne Philippe Buisson, who spoke following the tragedy, the victims could be from Coutras. Contacted by Bordeaux newsthe town hall says it is still waiting for information before communicating.

The circumstances of the accident still remain unclear, but speed could be a factor given the violence of the impact. Philippe Buisson, on social networks, confides that “the circumstances unfortunately seem extremely more complex than a simple road accident.
