Trump – Biden debate: panic among Democrats | IRIS

28.06.2024

This Thursday, June 27, Joe Biden and Donald Trump faced off in the first presidential debate of the 2024 campaign. The exchanges, unsurprisingly, did not shine with relevance or rigor on issues of domestic and foreign policy. Donald Trump made numerous dubious accusations about President Biden: links with China, links with Russia and his attack on Ukraine… For his part, Joe Biden recalled the former president’s multiple trials, although the biggest cases will be dealt with after the election. Appearing weak and disoriented, Joe Biden lacks credibility and it is difficult to see how he will be able to convince voters. Enough to worry the Democratic camp. The scenario of the American election in November 2024 is becoming less and less likely with the re-election of the outgoing president.

Pascal Boniface’s point of view.
