The No. 5 seed Jiri Lehecka won two sets to zero (6-4, 6-4) against the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, seeded No. 2, and reached the semi-finals of the tournament. Antwerp, Friday on the hard indoor court of the Lotto Arena.
Lehecka, 33rd in the ATP world, will face the winner of the upcoming match between American Marcos Giron, seeded No. 8, and Belgian Zizou Bergs in the semi-finals of the Belgian tournament.
Jiri Lehecka had beaten the Spaniard Jaume Munar without being worried by the score (6-1, 6-4), and had won against the German Daniel Altmaier (6-4, 6-3), earlier in the tournament.
Tsitsipas, ranked 11th in the ATP, needed three sets to dominate Brazilian qualifier Thiago Seyboth Wild (7-6 [5]4-6, 7-5).
