“The light of Ukraine threatens to go out and with it that of Europe. We need to defend Ukraine more than ever,” exclaimed Roger Evano, a member of Trégor Solidarité Ukraine. Around thirty people mobilized on Thursday October 17, 2024 in front of the town hall of Lannion to support the Ukrainians and denounce the war led by Russia.

“Other civilians are detained”

Polina Deineko, a refugee in Pleumeur-Bodou since the start of the war, wanted to tell how one of her colleagues was recently taken prisoner by the FSB while she was going to her brother’s funeral in Crimea. “And this is not rare, other civilians are detained”insists the one who also cites two other cases of arbitrary imprisonment of which she is aware. The Trégor Solidarité Ukraine association remains mobilized by organizing an event or gathering every month in support of Ukraine. From November 15 to 30, she will present an exhibition at the Espace Sainte-Anne on the Chernobyl region, by Pascal Rueff and the Boutmo association, on the occasion of Festisol.
