In Ukraine, the Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirms France’s support

Jean-Noël Barrot continued his visit to Ukraine this Sunday, October 20 in the Sumy region, bordering Russia. He was able to see the extent of the destruction caused by the bombings and speak with military and cultural sector officials.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs visited the Sumy region this Sunday, in Trostyanets, a town inUkraine occupied in March 2022 by Russian troops, then heavily bombed during and after its liberation.

In front of the destroyed buildings, Jean-Noël Barrot spoke with the military governor of the region, Volodymyr Artyukh, as well as with the general commanding operations in the northern sector of theUkraineDmytro Keasylnykov.

The minister once again reaffirmed the support of the to Ukraine to the victory plan proposed by the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskywhile signaling that a Russian victory would plunge the world order into chaos.
