Broadcast this evening on TF1, Todd Philipps’ confusing “Joker” conceals a secret countdown which inspired fans with an incredible theory.
While Joker: Folie à deux has been in theaters since October 2, TF1 is broadcasting this evening the first part directed by Todd Philips in 2019 and carried by a confounding Joaquin Phoenix.
Rated 4.4 stars out of 5 by AlloCiné Internet users, winner of an Oscar for its main actor, the film had collected more than a billion dollars around the world (for a paltry budget), and had amazed many many spectators.
A countdown in the film
However, even if you have already seen it several times, Joker may not yet have revealed all of its secrets to you. Indeed, provided you give it a very particular point of view and pay close attention to certain details scattered everywhere, you will be able to notice that a strange countdown is hidden in the film.
As we had already mentioned five years ago in one of our Big Fan Theory at the instigation of Romain M. (film and AlloCiné fan), the social chaos caused by the Joker at the end , but also the character’s own inner chaos and his descent into madness, seem to have been announced throughout the film thanks to a mysterious countdown.

- At 32 minutes and 17 seconds, Arthur Fleck is attacked in the metro, in car number 10.
- At 33 minutes, he commits his first crime and shoots the employees who insulted him at the 9th Avenue station.
- At 36 minutes, the future Joker kisses his neighbor on her doorstep. She lives at number 8B.
- At 1 hour and 13 minutes, Arthur Fleck fled Arckham, running down corridor number 7.
- At 1 hour and 32 minutes, he rushes into the metro at platform number 6.
- A few seconds later, a passenger lunges at the inspectors in train number 5.
