– The development and progress achieved by the Kingdom, since the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Throne of His glorious ancestors, were the focus of a study day organized on Saturday at the Maison du Maroc in Paris.

Speaking at the opening of this event, the Consul General of Morocco in Paris, Nada Bakkali Hassani, highlighted the progress and achievements that the Kingdom has experienced under the enlightened leadership of the Sovereign.

“The bold and visionary reforms carried out under the leadership of HM the King have lastingly transformed Morocco, raising it to the rank of a regional power,” she underlined during this meeting held under the theme “the Kingdom of Morocco, country of challenges”, citing in particular the reform of social protection, the water strategy, as well as the multifaceted cooperation between Morocco and Africa.

The diplomat also affirmed that the question of the Moroccan Sahara will also have been “a strong marker” of these two and a half decades of reign of the Sovereign.

“His Majesty the King has made the defense of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom and the Moroccan character of the Sahara an absolute priority,” she added, noting that the Sovereign has given a highly positive dynamic to this issue which has resulted in the massive support of several countries for the sovereignty of the Kingdom over its Sahara, including member states of the Security Council in particular the United States and ,” she added.

Yassine El Yattioui, secretary general of the “NejMaroc” think tank, co-organizer of the event, highlighted the dynamic of positive growth experienced by the Kingdom, adding that this development greatly benefits Moroccan youth.

He also highlighted Morocco’s significant progress in the field of renewable energies and digital transformation, while emphasizing the climate of stability enjoyed by the Kingdom.

This study day, which saw the participation of an audience of entrepreneurs, academics, researchers and students, covered several themes, including: “entrepreneurship in France and Morocco: realities and challenges ”, “ecology, a strategic pillar for medium and long-term Franco-Moroccan cooperation in Africa”, “Morocco-Africa, a synergy for the future”, “sustainable real estate in Morocco, challenges and opportunities” and “the sports diplomacy of the Kingdom”.
