Heart

The Rilhac Accueil association is organizing a lottery on Sunday October 13 at the Mazelle room in Rilhac-Rancon, with doors opening at 12:30 p.m. Hosted by Cécile, this lottery offers numerous prizes. Raffle, refreshment bar, sandwiches and pastries on site. Information: 06.84.01.67.23.

Organic market

The Aster Veyrac association is organizing an organic market on Sunday October 13 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Mas-Martin site in Veyrac. Around fifty exhibitors are expected: organic producers and processors, artisans concerned with preserving the environment, associations. Some stands will offer dishes to be tasted on site in the room reserved for this purpose; a refreshment bar will also be present. Activities are also on the menu: 9:45 a.m., ornithological outing with the LPO Limousin and ALBL; 10:30 a.m., interactive workshop led by Nicolas Picard; 3 p.m., conference on “Natural agriculture for food autonomy” by Yoan Lopez; 4:30 p.m., conference on “Where is biodynamic agriculture 100 years later?” », by Patrick LEspagne.

Apples

For the third year, Saint-Bazile celebrates the apple on Sunday October 13 (open to the public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.). This village festival takes the form of a small market which brings together between 15 and 20 local exhibitors and, on the other hand, around a meal prepared by the volunteers of the festival committee on the theme of the apple (€10) and a refreshment bar. Throughout this day, you will watch the juice being made and can try out the crusher and the press. You can also treat yourself to fresh juice from the fruit and buy organic apples and pears from Haute-. This year there is a narrated ride in the company of storyteller Jean-François Vignaud from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., on the theme of apples and the region, as well as equestrian activities, the horse being a great lover of apples.

Plants

Sunday October 13, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the City of offers its traditional plant and local craft market at Victor-Thuillat Park. Many nurseries, horticulturists, artisans and associations will be present. Agents from the City’s green spaces, environment and biodiversity department will have a stand to answer questions from the public and share their advice. They will also offer talks: from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., “Limoges, nourishing city” and “Trees, pathologies, management”; from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., “The pond, from creation to management”; all day: “The tree in all its guises” animation and tree climbing. Free entry, food trucks and craft beers.

Chorale

The La Fleur de L’agence association is organizing a choral concert on Sunday October 13 at 4:30 p.m. at the La Meyze village hall, with the activist choir of Uzerche and the Nanars de la Tournerie choir. Entrance to the hat.

Dancing tea

Memory

Tuesday October 15 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Lac Plaisance multipurpose room in Saint-Hilaire-les-Places, a health prevention meeting will be hosted by Asept du Limousin on the theme “Memory and its functioning” . Specialists will give definitions and elements of understanding to overcome preconceived ideas and understand that memory can be linked to numerous factors, on which we can act to improve our memorization abilities. The Volières Nieuloises association is organizing its traditional fair for exotic birds and farmyard animals on Sunday October 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Nieul village hall.

Chickens

Tuesday October 15 from 2:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., in the Bricomarché parking lot in Bellac, “Poule pour tous” is organizing a distribution of free-range laying hens following their rescue in order to avoid the slaughterhouse. These chickens come exclusively from organic farms. The purchase price of a hen is €7. The set of 5+1 offered is €35. Mode

As part of the Responsible Fashion Fortnight in New Aquitaine, organized by the regional development and innovation agency, an event is planned in Limoges on Sunday October 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Third Place Building 25 of the former Marceau barracks, “SapLab Day”, with the association “Décrochez-moi ça à!” », whose raison d’être is the development of local know-how in the context of fashion and home textile reuse.
