The city’s Disability service is organizing a “parasport” day, on the Cours Mirabeau in , Wednesday October 16. Free activities, open to all, and meetings will punctuate the event.

In the city center of Narbonne, sport adapted to the disabled will be in the spotlight. Wednesday October 16, the City’s disability service is organizing a “parasport” day, Cours Mirabeau, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Many free activities, open to all, will be offered “for a moment of celebration, sharing and celebration of Paralympic values“.

Will be present: Handi athlete Narbonne Méditerranée, Narbonne handball, the Southern Rugby League League, the departmental adapted sports committee, disabled sports, the Narbonne disabled sports club, Afdaim-adapei 11, the departmental shooting committee and the association of visually impaired people from Aude. The opportunity for people with and without disabilities to discover and take on a new perspective.

Handiathletes from Aude will also be present, such as Hugo Jodar, who won several titles in mountain biking, cross-country and athletics. But also Xavier Dere who finished 7th in saber in N1, 3rd in Foil in N2 and 3rd in epee in N2 during the 2024 French championship. Or even Joseph Harant, 3rd in the 2024 French table tennis championship.
