A fan of Agatha Christie novels and detective investigations in general, Kody directly agreed to join the cast. “I wanted to play Columbo. I thought it could be really funny.”declares the comedian. “Unfortunately, when I watch detective stories, I never find out who the murderer is. My predictions are never good. (laughs) But I like the exercise. It remains fascinating.

Laurent Ruquier and Kody arrive on TF1

What was the strategy you used during this experience?

The truth is never where we expect it. Sometimes we get carried away with finding stratagems even though they are very simple. It is, in any case, easier and encouraging to search with other members of the team.

Did you meet any nice people during filming?

I discovered Francis Perrin, a wonderful theater actor who played all the classics and who is one of the great defenders of Molière. But also Elsa from Dancing with the stars which is incredible. We all got along well. I’ve kept in touch with several people and, who knows, maybe we’ll do other things together.”

Did you feel any form of pressure during the game?

We start with a kind of lightness but, as we play, little by little, the pressure builds because the master of the game is quite perverse and devious. He takes us by boat. There is a certain tension. Although it’s a game and we’re all cool, we feel like there’s more at stake than we imagined. Sometimes we let ourselves be overcome by an emotion that we didn’t plan to have.

Soon in “Les Grosses Têtes”

As part of the promotion of Game MasterKody will be the exceptional guest of Laurent Ruquier in Les Big Heads on RTL. A first for the comedian who is one of the show’s regular listeners. “With Laurent Ruquier, we had a good laugh on the set of Game Master. He told me to try to bring the same mood to the set of Big Heads”, explains Kody who would not refuse a place as a member in the comedy show. “It would make me laugh to go there once!
