Nearly 100,000 euros
“The agents are in the process of completing the inventory of all these bridges,” specifies Philippe Presse, deputy mayor in charge of the work.
A first project had been marked out to renovate three bridges located in the localities Beauval, Le Bois Rôti and Les Bots. Carried out in September and October 2024 by the SEEG of La Mottethis work still amounts to nearly 96 000 € TTC.
“We made the decision to postpone these projects by a year to try to obtain a subsidy. And we did well,” says Philippe Presse.
We still managed to obtain nearly €64,000 in state subsidies, that is to say 80% of the amount excluding taxes for the work. This is money saved that we can put elsewhere.
Anticipate
In the years to come, other construction sites as these will follow.
“Before, these bridges were not checked. Now we are going keep an eye above and intervene as soon as we notice a need, to anticipate problems,” announces Philippe Presse.
