New for this literary season: Haute-Corrèze Community is launching the Prix des Bulles, intended for young people in its territory who are fans of graphic novels. To your books!

Are you over 14 years old and are you passionate about reading? The Prix des Bulles is made for you!

In order to promote the reading and discovery of contemporary graphic novels among young people (and adults) in the region, Haute-Corrèze Communauté is launching, for the 2024-2025 school year, this literary prize in partnership with high school CAP students. Ventadour and the IME La Peyrotte (Ussel), in partnership with the Haute-Corrèze media library and with the support of the traveling bookstore La Limou’Zine and the Le Carnot cinema.

Throughout the year, young people will study with their teachers the four competing works, chosen for their relevance and their proximity to young people, before voting for their favorite book.

Meetings, workshops and critiques

Throughout the year, participating students will have the opportunity to meet renowned authors, publishers and screenwriters, visit media libraries and bookstores, participate in graphic and literary creation workshops and write literary reviews. .

The Prize is also open to all readers over the age of 14 in the region, as well as to all schools in the region and to the public of media libraries. The objective being to create a real dynamic around the reading of the graphic novel.

Readers have until the end of April 2025 to read the four novels and vote for their favorite. The winner will be revealed during an evening event in May.

In parallel with the Prize, several events will be organized with authors or publishing houses, open to the general public.
