The Greens won their second victory of the season on Saturday. Victory 3 goals to 1 over Auxerre, a direct opponent in the race to maintain. A success that feels great before a two-week international break. The Stéphanois delivered a strong match against the Burgundians.
We certainly witnessed the most successful start of the season of the season for ASSE on Saturday. Auxerre had a few chances but the Greens quickly took the upper hand and saw their domination at the start of the match validated by a superb curling shot from Zuriko Davitashvili which opened the scoring a quarter of an hour into the game.
The Georgian scored his first goal of the season. A goal which allows the Greens to achieve their most successful start to the match of the season.
In a stadium full as an egg, the Auxerre spent a good part of the first period without a solution against the Greens who had a real feeling of control.

In the second half, the Stéphanois tried to score a third goal to be permanently safe. But it was Auxerre who scored a goal. The Greens now only lead 2 goals to 1
