Patrice Duhamel, political journalist, writer, former director general of Télévisions, hosted a master class this Saturday, October 5, during the La Baule political film festival. He mentions in the book The Cat and the Fox President-Prime Minister couples. Interview.

Last January, you published The Cat and the Fox which sweeps the history of the Presidents of the Republic and the Prime Ministers under the Ve Republic. With a fable by La for each chapter.

Each time, the moral of the fable corresponds to the way I see the couple. I selected thirteen for the initial book, couples whose stories I knew best directly or through testimonies. And those that I found the most romantic. I like the romantic in politics. De Gaulle-Pompidou is incredibly romantic because they have blind trust in each other at the beginning, but it ends in a bloodbath.

The last two couples are missing, Macron-Attal and Macron-Barnier…

I am currently writing these two chapters which will be in the pocket edition which will be released in January.
