Wydad Es-Semara beat the Ethiopian club Mechal Handball Sport Club (40-18), Saturday on behalf of the 2nd day of group D, during the 45th African men’s championship of handball champion clubs, organized until 19 current in Laâyoune.
The first half ended with a score of 19-9 in favor of the Moroccan club.
On the same day, Mountada Derb Sultan defeated the Ethiopian club Krikos with a score of 38 to 12.
Raja Agadir is the third representative of Morocco in this men’s championship in which the Egyptian clubs Al Ahly and Zamalek, Etoile and CFJSO from Congo, Don Bosco from Ivory Coast and ASFA from Senegal also take part.
The Beninese clubs Flowers CNSS and Adjidja HBC, Cameroonian FAP and Friendship HB, in addition to Mekelle 70 Enderta, Krikos and Mechal Handball Sport Club from Ethiopia are also in the game.
