An Art that goes far beyond weaving threads
Anthony knows how to surround himself in order to enhance his art. He is also part of an association, with which he has projects in collaboration with Greater Geneva. He also wants to develop his luminous drums
He chose to entrust the machining of certain wooden parts to Sylvain Barret, a long-time friend and digital craftsman who also contributes to the other dimensions of the project through his insight and advice. Anthony carries out all the other steps leading to the birth of a Drum of the Stars: restoration of chariot wheels, sanding, varnishing, incorporation of the electrical and luminous device, computer extraction of the figures to be woven, weaving, all these steps providing a additional dimension to his art.
He participates in exhibitions and events (around three per year) and needs to be in a dark environment to showcase his works. Art galleries, festivals, Christmas markets, wellness fairs. He works in particular with the Magic Green’ Art association, whose specialty is the organization of artistic and light events in the great outdoors. In 2025, the association will organize several shows. They will each have one of the four elements as their theme: fire, earth, water and air and will take place from March to October. Anthony will be there on some and will present a light and sound installation which will see new light drums come to life and come to life through the use of dynamic lights. The artist would then dream of participating in a show for the festival of lights in Lyon, his hometown.
