Simultaneous event in 26 countries
Reunion Island is once again this year the only DOM represented at the Pint of Science festival, which will take place from Monday May 13 to Wednesday May 15, 2024. This event takes place simultaneously in 26 countries and 400 cities around the world, including more than 50 in France. . During nine evenings offered in the towns of Saint-Denis, Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul, 25 researchers, engineers or doctoral students invite you to talk science over a drink in Reunion bars and restaurants. Every evening, a theme will be at the heart of the discussions, hosted by two speakers, with quizzes and even gifts to be won (Photo: www.imazpress.com)
For the 11th consecutive year, the Pint of Science festival pushes scientists out of their labs and into everyday places, to talk science with the general public. “The objective is to organize the meeting between sciences and society, and to contribute to the development of scientific culture, all in a friendly atmosphere around a drink” explains the organization of the festival.
